So, for the last 36 hours or so you can't turn on the news, the Internets or the blogosphere and not see something about him, his life and now his death. I admired his journalism work ethic, I liked his interviews and I liked his style. I recently caught some personal interviews with him on PBS where he talked about his life, his family, his career, his faith and he was passionate about all of it. It's sad to hear about his death. He was so young. The news media will miss him and this election season will just be a lot more somber without him to guide us along through it all.
This was a nice piece about one meeting with the pope. And Sister Mary Martha had a lovely tribute to him in her blog last night.
